Colocation Service

Do you:

If you answered yes, and we know you did, then you need colocation. ipHouse is the safe, secure and stable environment you need for your servers. You can trust ipHouse to keep your servers running happily, while you sleep soundly.

To get you started, cabinet colocation includes a single 20A 120vAC circuit, 512 kbps of bandwidth and all the IP space necessary for your network. All colocation traffic is carried back into our network on 10/100/Gigabit Ethernet interfaces so you'll never see a slowdown of your data.

Cage space is fully customizable and starts with 3 20A 120vAC circuits and 512kbps of bandwidth.

DC power is available in 15A increments for an additional fee.

ipHouse is carrier neutral and charges a minimal cross connect fee to access all major carriers in our facility.

Cabinet and cage colocation accounts come standard with 10 e-mail boxes and necessary IP space to route your network correctly.

As an "out-of-band" connection, an ipHouse Dialup account with 20 hours is included to provide remote connectivity and testing of your servers.

Doug Bailey, CEO/Head Geek of Eagan's Sunshine Software, talks about ipHouse

"Getting my business to ipHouse from my previous ISP was like escaping from prison. IpHouse provides my company with connectivity (OC12s) and collocation, which meant my moving 28 servers from my own home into the ipHouse cage in downtown Minneapolis.

IpHouse has been intensely good to us - they say on their Web site that they want to provide customers with insanely great support. Well, they passed 'insanely great' in their first two weeks with me. I've never moved a data center before - but their collocation cage was beautifully engineered and equipped exactly as I'd requested. I got support that was incredible; as I started the move, Jonathan at ipHouse was on the phone to me daily, asking if there was anything he could do to help. I'd never experienced that kind of customer service with an ISP.

You don't expect an ISP to think about your business once you've committed - for most ISPs, signing you as a client is like a fire-and-forget missile. But that's not how ipHouse operates. IpHouse's people called to find out how my move was going - and suggested ways to make my move easier. IpHouse came up with a cost-effective plan to satisfy every need and requirement that I had specified - and it took ipHouse one day to do it! In comparison, it took my previous ISP two months to respond, and those other guys still never answered my questions about an expansion path for my business.

I admit it, I am a techno geek. I was the first Bell Laboratories customer for UNIX, other than the government. I care passionately about my little business. I trust ipHouse to the same extent that I would entrust a babysitter to watch my children. I could have taken my business to any ISP in the Twin Cities, but there are no better networking people in Minnesota than ipHouse's Mike Horwath and Doug McIntyre. What's more, ipHouse's network infrastructure is intelligently designed and optimized for high throughput and minimal latency - it's as good, or better, than anybody's in town.

And finally - ipHouse feels as comfortable as an old shoe and as welcoming as my home. Bil and Mike and Doug and Jon at IPHouse provide me with the kind of service that I want to provide to my own customers. They are good people, with a great heart and attitude."
